No Boat? No Problem.
The Echo Lake trail starts on the far bank of the Squamish River. Let us handle the crossing so you can focus on the climb and the swim at the top.
About Echo Lake
Echo Lake is the payoff at the top of the Echo Falls trail - a clear, cold alpine lake tucked into the mountains on the west side of the Squamish River. The climb follows the falls the whole way up, opening to swimming-worthy water and big views once you reach the lake. It's one of the most rewarding day hikes in the Sea to Sky.
Why You Need a Boat
The trailhead sits on the western bank of the Squamish River, and there's no bridge or road in. You need a boat, canoe, or paddleboard to get across. Our water taxi makes it simple: we drop you at the trailhead and pick you up when you're back down.
